Your personal information will be collected by the National Association of People with HIV Australia Incorporated (we or us).

We collect such personal information for the purposes of providing our services, specifically the delivery of the HIV self-testing kit and to provide a reminder service when you are next able to order the testing kit.

We may also use this information to:

    • make available appropriate educational, support and other materials;
    • to provide products and services to you and to send communications requested by you (including via email, mail, SMS or telephone);
    • to form the basis of non-identifiable statistics in our semi-annual and annual reports;
    • to support collaborative rapid HIV testing research efforts.

If you do not provide your information, we may not be able to provide you our HIV self-testing kit or our reminder services.

The Privacy Act 1988 requires us to notify you when we collect and store your personal information. If you have any questions at all or would like to talk to us about your most recent experience, please contact us on contact@HIVtest.au

Subject to some exceptions permitted by law you may be able to request access to, or correction of, your personal information.

We may also disclose this information to third parties such as a contracted service provider or other entities which are a part of collaborative databases of rapid HIV testing projects.
